 JRCT FUNDS THE CAP

20.10.08

Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust funds the Carbon Accountability Programme.

JRCT has funded the Carbon Accountability Programme (CAP) to work on accountability solutions in participative partnerships.

This funding enables Friends of the Earth Scotland to launch the CAP, an exciting new programme of work to increase consumer and business confidence in the actions they take to reduce their carbon.

The CAP will introduce the concept of Carbon Accountability to key sectors with global significance.

The CAP will produce briefings in key carbon accountability areas to inform the process of building effective and transparent carbon policies and markets and will seek to create participative partnerships with financial institutions and other businesses to develop carbon accountability tools.
